Welcome to Green Sortie (“Green Sortie”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile site, and any related services for ordering and subscription of meals (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing our website and/or placing an order or subscribing to any meal plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Company and service details
- Green Sortie is a cloud kitchen providing prepared meals and meal subscription services, with no dine‑in facility.
- Our Services are currently available only in designated delivery areas notified on our website or at the time of order.
- You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
- If you are using the Services on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Account registration and user obligations
To use certain features (like subscriptions, order history, wallet/credits), you may need to create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You agree to keep your information updated and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Menu, pricing and taxes
All menu items, descriptions, images and prices shown on the website are indicative and subject to change at any time without prior notice. Prices are in INR and may be inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be displayed at checkout. Portion sizes and presentation may vary from images or descriptions. Green Sortie reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or replace any item or plan at its sole discretion.
5. Ordering process (single orders)
- Orders can be placed through our website and any other authorised channel notified by us.
- An order placed by you is an offer to purchase; it is accepted only when we confirm the order and receive payment, where applicable.
- We may decline or cancel any order if the delivery location is outside our serviceable area, items are not available, there is a lack of capacity, or suspicious activity is detected.
6. Subscription meal plans
Green Sortie offers recurring meal plans (“Subscription Plans”) such as 1‑month, 2‑month, and 3‑month subscriptions as described on the website.
- 1-month: Strictly non‑refundable and non‑cancellable once purchased.
- 2 & 3-month: Limited cancellations are permitted only as described in section 7.
- Start Date: Activated before the cut‑off time become eligible from the next available delivery day.
7. Subscription cancellations and running‑month rule
7.1 General rule: No running‑month cancellation
Once a month of your subscription period has started, that month will be treated as fully non‑cancellable and non‑refundable.
7.3 2-month subscriptions
Only eligible to cancel the second month. If cancelled, the first month is recalculated based on the applicable 1‑month plan price.
7.4 3-month subscriptions
If Month 1 is complete and Month 2 is ongoing, only Month 3 can be cancelled. Charges for ongoing months are recalculated using 1‑month pricing.
8. Per‑day meal cancellation via planner
You may cancel a meal for any specific day only through the Planner and only up to a maximum of 3 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Requests made after the 3‑hour cut‑off will not be accepted, and the meal will be treated as delivered.
9. Customer responsibilities at delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccurate address, non‑availability, or refusal to accept without valid reason, the order will be considered fulfilled and no replacement or refund will be due.
10. Food quality, safety and allergies
The kitchen may handle common allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, etc., and complete allergen separation or zero cross‑contamination cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for communicating severe allergies before ordering.
11. Consumption and storage
Meals should be consumed within 2 hours of delivery at room temperature or refrigerated promptly. Green Sortie is not responsible for deterioration arising from improper storage or delayed consumption.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Green Sortie's total aggregate liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific order or subscription in dispute.
22. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory provisions of law, courts in Aurangabad, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
